Supplies for The Wolf Conservation Center

A few months ago, we told you all about a very special act we had sponsored for The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), in South Salem, NY. Founded in 1999 by Hélène Grimaud, the WCC is a private, not-for-profit environmental organization whose mission is to promote wolf conservation by educating the public about wolves, their relationship to the environment, and the human role in protecting their future.

In coordination with our July #GetKind theme (the environment), Random Acts was able to purchase three items from the organization’s wishlist, including a microscope, an otoscope/opthalmoscope, and a centrifuge, which would be used during routine checkups and lab appointments — and we were more than honored to be able to help a wonderful cause whose dedication to conservation goes above and beyond. After all, says Grimaud:

“I think if people are touched by meeting such an animal, that’s when you can really motivate people to do something about it…. There’s nothing more exciting.”

When you donate to Random Acts, you’re not just dropping money into the unknown, you’re supporting all the wonderful organizations who partner up with us to do some good — and that’s worth more than you know.
