Day Two of The 12 Random Acts of Kindness brings an opportunity to get some exercise as well as brighten a neighbor’s day. If you’re taking a few moments to rake leaves, sweep snow from your front walk, or weed your garden, why not take another ten minutes and do the same for your neighbor?
It’s a great way to show care and courtesy for those living near you, get your heart rate up, and beautify your neighborhood. Imagine the look on your neighbor’s face when they walk out the door with a rake or gardening gloves to find their yard work finished. The expression of pleasant surprise in their eyes is as much a gift to yourself as a clean front walk is to your neighbor.
Keep a sharp eye out in your neighborhood and don’t be surprised if your random act of kindness snowballs into something much more!
Let us know what you’ve done for your neighbors this season, and check back soon for Day Three of The 12 Random Acts of Kindness.
