Do you have an activity you can’t live without? Something that you could do for, say, eight straight hours? Well, we have a project for you ….
Endure 4 Kindness (E4K) is a global endurance event. Participants are invited to pick an activity and invite their friends, family and members of the local community to pledge money for them to do it. The more you do the more you’ll raise – and the more acts of kindness you’ll help fund.
Last year, hundreds of people all around the world came together to take part in the first ever Random Acts endurance event. At Random Acts, we believe that small actions have a big impact. We raised a lot of money last year to help us continue conquering the world one random act of kindness at a time, and had a lot of fun while we did it!
In fact, we had so much fun we’ve decided to do it all again!
So, how exactly will this work? E4K itself will take place over the weekend November 2-3. That weekend, choose one continuous 24 hour period over that weekend for your event. We don’t expect you to go for the full 24 hours of course, but it needs to be a continuous activity for as long as you can manage. So for example, you can’t run for 3 hours one day, 5 hours a day later. It would need to be 8 hours all in one go. Totally doable, right?
If you’re like me, running might not be your first choice of activity. That’s ok – can you knit blankets for someone in need, write letters to soldiers overseas, or hula hoop in the town square? Choose to do whatever you love to do, for as long as you can do it – but it has to be a new project just for E4K and a project that will test your stamina.
