Calling all Artists! Can you #DrawTheLove?

At Random Acts, we are consistently impressed by the creativity and artistic abilities of our fans.  Here’s your chance to have those abilities (digitally) published!

Before the end of the year, we are issuing a set of twelve digital images – all created by you!  We’re going to pick our favorites and make them available to the entire Random Acts community.  Initially, we are going to use them as e-cards, which we hope to have available later this year; but you know us – we don’t allow creativity to exist in just one medium.  There are also some exciting mystery uses we are considering!

A few guidelines:  We would like the cards to illustrate kindness.  Your creation has to be high-resolution so we can reproduce the images, and fit into a ratio of 5×7 (either portrait or landscape), as if your image were a greeting card.

Please don’t use any copywrited material, or use a specific holiday as your inspiration.  This project is more about the universal theme of kindness and service than any one day.  Any medium is acceptable — whether your talent is photography, drawing, or digital creations, we’re open to artistry of all kinds.

Finally, we’ll have to make our relationship “official” – we’re going to ask you to sign something that gives Random Acts the right to reproduce your images for this purpose or other purposes.

You can enter multiple times; just  post your images directly on our wall or tag your images with #DrawtheLove!  You can also email to enter.   The deadline is midnight, Sunday, November 10, Eastern Standard Time.

All 12 winners will receive a Random Acts t-shirt and one of our brand new journals in which to express your creativity.

So what do you think of when you think of kindness?  Is it the warm feeling when you share your talents with others?  The sweaty rush from an E4K activity?  The quiet satisfaction from helping a stranger?  Time to put those feelings on paper and #DrawTheLove!
