After last year’s popular 12 Acts of Kindness blog series, we have returned again with lots of ideas for you to put a bit of kindness into your corner of the world. Check this space often for new inspiration as we head toward 2014.
Most of us enjoy the cute antics of the children in our lives. But as the year draws to a close, why not pay some special attention to children in our community?
Create kindness for children. Many of us are celebrating during the holiday season, and you can help a child in need by answering a “letter to Santa” or donating toys to a local drive. Or why not make a longer-term commitment by volunteering to help a child learn to read or serving as a math tutor? Not only will you be creating special relationship with a child, but helping the future by teaching useful skills. You might also think about donating school supplies, or as a mentor to a local children’s theater. The possibilities are endless!
